Starting in small business Greg worked hard as a National Accounts Manager in Media Sales for a variety of hospitality trade publications. Here he learned the important values of hard work and being a team player.
Currently, Greg teaches at John F. Ross CVI as the school’s Director of Business Education. Outside the classroom he has led seminars including a session on teaching ethics for the ...Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario.
Greg’s passions include improving public education and the financial literacy of today’s youth. As a member of the Guelph Mercury’s Community Editorial Board through 2008 and 2009, Greg has become known throughout Guelph. His numerous inspiring columns encourage today’s youth to vote and work hard at their studies. One published column urged all levels of government to spend our hard earned tax dollars wisely. Most recently, he was endorsed by the Guelph Mercury’s Editorial Board, for calling on his own teachers’ union to improve the teacher evaluation process.
An active member of the Guelph community he has been a past member of Guelph’s Transit Board, played the lead role in a Guelph Little Theatre’s production and coached numerous teams at John F. Ross. Greg has also been an assistant coach for Guelph Minor Baseball. Currently, Greg is the School Chair at Jean Little Public School. His family attends and volunteers at Dublin Street United Church.
Greg and his wife Kelly have two boys, aged 7 and 5. Last summer they were thrilled and blessed with the birth of a beautiful baby girl.
